Health tech pioneer all set for TSA event
Health and care technology pioneer Archangel will be showcasing its next generation, Ambient-Assisted Living platform at the forthcoming ITEC Conference (18-19 March, ICC Birmingham) organised by the TSA (TEC Services Association).
Archangel is a cloud-based collaborative platform that connects systems, assesses data and responds to incidents enabling people to live independently and safely for longer in their own homes.
Tom Morton, founder and CEO of Archangel, explained: “Our NHS is under pressure with delayed discharge on the rise again, our care homes are already full and our housing conditions contribute to tenant poor health. Additionally health and care providers are facing tough financial decisions and capacity pressure means that they struggle to retain staff. We need to find a better way to assist local health, care and housing partnerships to manage the ageing population and alleviate budget and capacity challenges.
“Archangel’s ‘better way’ utilises service providers’ analogue to digital transformation budgets to deliver sustainable proactive and predictive care solutions that herald the next generation in more holistic, personalised digital care.
“Although technology agnostic, we have been working closely with major partners such as AWS, LG and Semtech amongst others, seamlessly integrating IoT, smart home technology, mobile and other data sources that combine to deliver peace of mind for families, support professional carer organisations and empower people to live longer, happier and more independent lives within their own properties and communities.
“We are so confident in Archangel’s abilities we ask service providers to challenge us! We will provide a free ‘demo’ home to help them appreciate the full resilience, efficiency and power of this next generation monitoring system.
“We’re looking forward to meeting friends and colleagues, old and new, through our involvement in this showpiece TEC conference,” added Tom.
